This weeks challenge: Baubles, Bells or anything hanging!! All the details for the challenge will be on the blog this Saturday, Nov. 19th. Please use the keyword ODBDSLC85, so we can see your creations. DonÂ’t forget to enter your card in the challenge on the blog.
I chose rich colors, cherry cobbler and always artichoke to go with the Very vanilla and gold. Embossed the pine branches around the border, then gold embossed the ornament from ODBD’s Ornaments 2 on Cherry cobbler, and die cut with the SB 2011 Heirloom ornament die. I used the border stamp from ODBD’s Serve the Lord, and layered it to run down the side, and suspended the Ornament with Gold cord, and added some beads to hang off the bottom too. Inside there is a sentiment from the Ornaments set – “Christmas Blessings” and punched along the bottom edge and added some red behind it to show off the punch.

What do I think - elegant and beautiful are the first two words that come to mind. That pine branch border is ingenious, goes great around that stunning ornament. Love red and gold and the artichoke green is the perfect tone....side element with the gold and rhinestones is the perfect touch. You have really been rockin on these cards.
